Failure to maintain, denial of access equality, and failure to observe access equality procedures with regard to recent repairs to the slipway mean that without voluntary rock clearing the beach would be totally inacessible to the disabled.

Access Audit 12 - Walney Airfield to Earnse Bay
The wooden barrier at the airfield end is barely adequate even for a medium sized mobility scooter and the kissing gate at the other end is even worse. The track is badly neglected and bushes have been allowed to encroach on the path ever since the airfield was fenced off years ago.
