Anyways! Gurren Lagann - Mind blowing-ly awesome show. Enough for me to spaz edit a video :3 I got the new Katy Perry CD and this song stuck out to me, I planned out where I wanted the main events to go while I was driving to keep myself awake :3 I really loved Simons character, he grows so much over the course of the show. I really wanted to show how he bonded with Kamina and how Nia came to be another important character to him. Gah! This show is love! I am definitely rusty and this is probably half of what it could be. I am done with it for right now and I am pleased :3 I had some great friends look over the video while I bothered them several times. okay, this is a new video of mine! unlike the last beta which is a few months old. I started this video wanted it to be about mizusu and Yukito, but it seemed so much more appropriate for mother daughter with Mizusu and Haruko. They have a wonderful relationship towards the end of the show and i always wanted to demonstrate their connection through an AMV. sony vegas is being mean right now so the video is on hold. I have a lot more clip effects to add in, I am just having a tough time picking them out xD This song is beautiful but the audio sucks on this one, I tired everything I could to get a higher and clearer version but I had to settle for this one. I will post the lyrics below so you know what the frick shes saying. Another thing i wanted to add in was some nice suitable text to make it more understandable. I even showed the ending of this anime to my own mother and she cried, its a very emotional ending. Hopefully by the time I am done adjusting everything it will have that same effect. I also will render an HD version so it will look a whole bunch cleaner. THANKS FOR ALMOST 300 SUBSCRIBERS! Hello everyone! Its been a little while, actually I had this AMV done about half a month ago but the few little things that needed to be fixed, I was too lazy to fix them. So I had this video started back in February but my computer deleted the episodes for some strange reason and work was halted. Back when I working on Love Story I re-downloaded the episodes and started over. I am satisfied with the video at this point, even though some parts could stand to be stronger. I really wanted to demonstrate that the girls are trained to not have any remorse for the criminals they hunt, but part way through I wanted to change the perspective to a 3rd person witnessing what the girls are faced with. Most people know this song off the Twilight soundtrack, which is how I discovered it. It was such a wonderfully haunting song I needed to find and anime that could be on par. Gunslinger girl is not a flashy show but is so thoughtful and unique. I made a full video out of it so its gotta match some how. I was really excited to do some masking, which could of been better. My first real task with masking didnt come out like a disaster. *Laughs* Effect wise, I have been struggling with having more effects and stuff. I guess I have hit a small rough patch. Hopefully i get some more creative energy going . Well now. . . This is finally done . . . Yay! This video took longer than I had hoped, but only about half the time I was actually working on it. I guess I had a lot of second guessing on clips and how I chose to use them. It still feels like I missed some of the best parts =3 but I tried to work them all in. It seems like I can always come back to Ai Yori Aoshi for creating AMV's xD its been like a fall back show. But I really want to make more AMV's with my favorite shows. I've got a Gunslinger girl one in the works, Hopefully a Chrono Crusade, Clannad and Mushishi(which be interesting). I have to say my mom helped me out a lot on this one xD when ever I had a section done I would drag her over to the computer and ask her what she thought about it. She doesn't really understand AMVs but even if a part didn't feel right she would tell me. Thanks mom! Now the Aspect ratio is different from the Beta one I posted. Somewhere along my many rendered I changed something but thanks to StrawberryKiss atleast it looks better. Not all boxy and centered. I said that this was suggested to me by someone here on youtube a few months ago so I'm glad its done and looks somewhat decent. While there weren't many effects I tried to be a little creative with how the clips came and went and syncing it with the music. Really, Aoi and Karou are true Romeo and Juliets (exept for the ending) I like where it stands and I hope it goes over well.
