Wrong, he's constantly a character who is alienated due to his heritage, who wants to be human but has a crisis of identity. What makes Superman such an interesting character is because he's basically a modern day greek god. These characters have those same traits, and he's in many ways our modern mythological re-telling of heroes who we've wanted to aspire to be.
