Apr 30, 2012 - Difference is, FMP didnt have that bloody gore thing going throughout the series like Elfen Lied. Doing that after the established image of high school comedy / mecha action will change its overall tone. The stuff after the events of TSR is nothing like the stuff you see in the anime. You see how dark it got towards end of TSR? Its even darker and more depressing after that. Considering the stuff that KyoAni is used to producing, I can't imagine they continue with it.

Apr 30, 2012 - Elfen Lied was bloody, as well. It still continued to the end, albeit non-canon to the manga. I wish they would continue this anime. Or at the very least, release new manga chapters for it. It just drops off after a certain point and leaves you on a major cliffhanger.

Dec 19, 2011 - The anime (both seasons) is probably only 1/4th or 1/3rd of the real storyline. They tackle three behemoths later and a arm slave that puts the Arbalest to shame later on.

Dec 14, 2011 - fun fact: this has 2 easter eggs... one is on episode 10 ,you will notice 1337 on the licence plate on the van at around 17 minutes into the episode and the second one is a death note reference at the episode the main character get's a hair cut (can't remember witch one)
