May 15, 2012 - I will say that reading subtitles really isn't much of a problem if you can read at a decent clip, and just as some shows just work better in English, some just work better in Japanese. Black Lagoon does have one of the best English dubs though.

May 14, 2012 - I prefer the Japanese with subs just because it seems closer to what they intended, however I ended up watching HOTD dubbed for some reason. The subs on the one that I saw were fine. I did, however, cringe when the japanese voice actors spoke engl(r)ish.
