Unless, through some miracle, Donte ceases to look like Edward Cullen trying to be anything other than a fairy, and actually looks like the Dante we know and love, and there is a GOOD damn explanation, will I accept it. Stop with the prequels; we already have one. Next game, look more into Nero's story, plz.

Dante is living in an illusionary world, and the Dante that we know and love is flitting between his real world and the illusionary one. But he has something in the illusionary world he must accomplish before he goes home. This would explain the change in hair colour, and the kind of world he lives in.

Jun 8, 2011 - I'm a fan of the Devil May Cry series, and to me this seems interesting. Sure "he" is missing some the weapons and items used or seen in previous games, but then again it is a prequel. So he might earn them throughout the game, possibly. I could care less of the change in appearance for "him", since I have no discrimination to change in characters within either prequels or sequels. Still waiting play it though. (NOTE) That I didn't use the name Dante. He's not Dante... not yet.

Jun 8, 2011 - Reasons DmC will suck: 1. All Ninja Theory's games have been mediocre at best. 2. Tameem (creative director) has replaced one of the most iconic videogame characters ever with an emo-looking self-insert. 3. The OTT fun style of Dante/DMC we all love has needlessly been replaced with an unwelcome serious tone. 4. They're using the Unreal engine which isn't designed for DMC style games so it runs at 30fps instead of 60. 5. The graphics are worse than DMC4 in every way. It's DMC2 all over again...
