May 31, 2011 - Japanese don't really have different accents too much. They do but its not like this. They have different dialects. They form their words and sentences differently but it still means the same. The director thought he could equivilize by making it accents instead of dialects. Either way everyone's acting sucks in this show......

Because the main character is from the "south" of Japan so they imitate it with a southern american accent . . . . the little girl is from Tokyo so she has sort of a New Yorker accent so they are trying to make it sound real
