I don't think her exact age is stated, but she's most likely beyond ancient in human terms. Like someone else said, she uses the child form so she won't be forced to marry or reproduce. It's basically a disguise.

May 24, 2012 - The manga and the anime differed from the very start, the anime messed up quite a lot in comparison to the manga. In the original, Vampire True Forms are always vampiric themed (no giant spiders/toad thingys), the first few chapters were entirely different, later on charecters were different (why the hell did they remove the supremely kickass Hama Seiji and replace him with Mei Ren?! Stupid decision -.-) also it seems the anime is hinting at a past story that is WAY different to the manga.

In her second form it's kinda a given seeing as how the change in body size would destroy her clothes anyhow.
