Really, there isn't much you could do about it besides the fact that basically throughout the entertainment industries, the heroes and the villians will always have to lead the way while Earth's military might gets its ass blown numerous times already due to sheer incompetants which is basically bullshit that I have to agree with. They just simply want to make more money basically instead of focusing more on the realism rather.

So even if humanity had years to prepare could raise a Billion soldiers and every soldier had a kill ratio of 1:50 Earth would have lost within a few years. If the zerg surprised humanity earth would be toast within a few months. But even here u have unplausible events. Half life 2 - The SEVEN HOUR war? WTF? ALL of earths forces wiped out in 7 HOURS?

Apr 1, 2011 - I thought that Battle: LA was a pretty good film. Though yeah, they should have add more aerial and naval combat scenes against the aliens in the movie rather than a small platoon of marines in the fight. But I still liked it overall since I love to see how the military respond against an alien invasion more often. :) And I see what you mean about the last sentences you've made, and I agreed. But imagine if The Zerg from Starcraft invade Earth. That would be a different story.

Mar 31, 2011 - lol... I pretty much seen most of the movies you've shown me. Yeah, Reign of Fire didn't make any sense either. But you know what's even more bullshit? Dragon Wars, The military ended up losing to these mooks that have terrible range and only flying dragons without sending in a couple of F-16's in the air. But if you want to see the military winning against the aliens, demons, zombies, etc. I reccommend that you should watch that movie, "Battle: Los Angeles". You won't regret it!

THATS the greates flaw in ANY Zombie movie/Novel The Second renaissance/ Blue Gender etc. Nowadays when something happens u hear it like 2 hours later on the news - even if it was in Iceland or Antarctica. But a Zombie/Blue outbreak is not discovered untill its to late?? 3. I wanna see how the Blue crack open a Tank and fight a modern aircraft that can fly like 10x faster than any Blue. Its like in The Second Renaissance - there the machines had ONE SINGLE city and defeated WHOLE earth? WTF? Its the same with the blue. Their corpses would have filled up the entire planet. We would have killed them as fast as earth could have produced them. And its mighty unrealistic that all Blue are bullet proof.
