Also Dantes hair is white in the centre and the coat is extremely similar, plus check out the Captivate trailer it shows that dante still cracks jokes from time to time. Lastly Dante was never mad at Sparda or his mom, that was Vergil.

May 10, 2012 - I don't really mind the change in his looks (btw Capcom instructed them to do that), so what if he is not wearing that colorful overcoat and his hair is not white? So what if he is not cracking so much jokes as he used to, if this is an alternate Dante or an younger Dante makes sense that he has a darker look and personality, by that time he was angry at demons and his father for the death of his mother, right?
